A funny and exciting radio interview with three Border Voices enthusiasts: Dana Gioia, California poet laureate; Jack Webb, founding-director of Border Voices; and Ilya Kaminsky, director of the MFA Program in Creative Writing at SDSU. Among many other things (including Dana’s successful effort to rescue jello as a dessert while vice president of General Foods) the three poets discuss Border Voices 2017, including a plan to teach poetry to seniors and get them on TV and in books.
